They make good apartment birds because they are fairly quiet. They do not house well with other birds or in larger numbers as they may become aggressive. It's best to keep only one pair per cage.

Diet: Parakeet mix. Fruits and veggies, including apples and celery. They also love spray millet.

Origin: South-eastern Australia from south-eastern Queensland to northern Victoria.
